NACM 2017 will offer two certification session courses, “Business Credit Principles” and “Financial Statement Analysis 2: Credit and Risk Assessment.” Professionals interested in certification or certified individuals seeking to polish their skill set may attend one of the two week-long courses. Participants must attend all five course segments and successfully complete an exam scheduled on Wednesday, June 14 to receive certification. This educational opportunity starts Saturday, June 10 and operates separately from all other educational break-out sessions.

Breakout sessions will equip credit professionals with a fundamental understanding of best procedures and practices, offering both lower-level and higher-level topics for discussion. On Monday, debt collection agencies take the spotlight in “The Psychology of the Debtor: What is Going on in Their Head?” This session will explore debt collection from a customer point of view to learn what factors may positively or negatively affect customer action and payment. Gain new strategies on how to successfully conduct agency services while understanding emotional barriers.
Global Sessions, hosted by NACM’s international division (FCIB), will supply international credit professionals with tools for growing a global business.
